29 Nov 2024 - HatiSens at the CSIRO On Accelerate Bootcamp
Last week, Siew Joo Beh, Cesar Sanchez Huertas and Jyothi Ramamurthy had the privilege of participating in the CSIRO On Accelerate Bootcamp in Sydney. It was a truly transformative experience packed with learning, connecting, and rethinking how we approach innovation and impact.
At the CSIRO On Accelerate Bootcamp, we:
- Challenged our thinking: The program pushed us to critically analyse and refine our business model and strategies.
- Gained clarity: Honest conversations with startup experts and investors helped us better navigate the pathways to market in the MedTech space.
- Built connections: We connected with inspiring founders and industry experts, sharing ideas and gaining valuable insights.
A huge thanks to the CSIRO ON team, the mentors, the investors and the founders (honestly we wished we could list everyone!) who generously shared their expertise and challenged us to think bigger and smarter. The experience has re-energised our mission to bring innovative diagnostic solutions to market and we will be in contact as we unpack this with our team.
This journey would not have been possible without the continuous support from Integrated Photonics and Applications Centre, Arnan Mitchell, Karlheinz Peter and RMIT University, whose guidance and resources have been integral to our progress.
While in Sydney, Siew attended the Australian Stroke and Heart Research Accelerator (ASHRA) Partnering Summit, diving deep into the world of heart and stroke research. The event showcased groundbreaking projects driving real clinical impact, and it was inspiring to witness the passion and dedication of those working to improve patient outcomes.
We’re excited to share these learnings with the broader HatiSens team as we continue building an innovative platform that transforms heart and health care.

26 Oct 2024 - HatiSens Shortlisted for CSIRO On Accelerate's 9th Cohort Bootcamp
We are delighted to share that HatiSens has been shortlisted to participate in the 9th cohort of On Accelerate Bootcamp, a prestigious CSIRO accelerator program designed to help entrepreneurial researchers translate and scale their innovations. This marks a significant milestone in our journey as we continue to develop our point-of-care device for early detection of heart attacks.
26 Oct 2024 - Welcoming a New Team Member
We are also excited to announce the addition of Jyothi Ramamurthy from RMIT University to the HatiSens team for the duration of this program. Jyothi brings with her a wealth of experience in R&D, business development and commercialisation, and she will be instrumental in driving our strategic initiatives forward. Her fresh perspective will complement our team's existing strengths in technology development and clinical expertise, enabling us to approach the commercialisation of our diagnostic device with renewed energy and insight.

HatiSens turns one on the 18th of June! That is a big milestone for us! We would like to thank everyone who mentored and supported us on our journey this far, we are so proud of how far we have come, even in the midst of pandemic.
